Fave Christmas Cookies – A Roundup

I really like to work ahead. I make lists, cross items off said list, and think about the leftover items in the back of my mind until I finish them and cross them off. Sometimes, I’ll write things in my planner after I’ve already done them, just so I can cross them off. I bought my nieces’ and nephews’ Christmas presents in October. I’m not bragging, I know this makes me uncool. Also, this information has nothing to do with this supercute picture of Tessa, Cade and Lukas in their pjs, nor does the picture have to do with what I am about to tell you.  If you are more relaxed (which is a good thing – I’m totally jealous), then you might be taking advantage of the 50% off sale at Gap right now, stocking up on the Christmas presents you haven’t had time to buy. In that case, you are not in your kitchen and probably won’t be. I am in my kitchen, looking around and saying, “you know, it wouldn’t hurt to make an extra batch of cookies to have around”. I looked through my cookie section on this site for inspiration, and saw several recipes that I’d (somehow!) forgotten about and cannot WAIT to make again.

You haven’t eaten each cookie, I’m assuming, so you’ll have to take my word for it; these are my absolute favorite, can’t-miss cookies. In the few days before Christmas when time is most definitely of the essence, using an hour to make a batch of disappointing cookies would stink. So don’t do it! Make one of these instead!

Don’t click on the pictures, click on the links. If I learn one day how to be better at computers, I’ll inform you, and you can click on the pictures.

  1. They all look yummy – maybe next year I’ll try one or more of them.

I’ll be making Pizelles and Fruitcake Cookies tomorrow with the grandkids – could get interesting. Both recipes make a lot and are pretty easy.

    Merry Christmas!
